Received mine today, great bit of kit. However there's some very interesting things going on inside the base. Does yours have, like mine, gold coloured metallic tape stuck on the inside of the base, which aligns with the cuts outs on the heat sink pipes? I assume this was to aid heat dissipation to the base? However this gold tape is then covered with clear plastic making it useless. Also a large part of the air vent is covered with black plastic which just seems ridiculous.
